Commentary on the World Development Report 2008 published by the World Bank and titiled "agriculture for Development". IMPACT Network Readers’Report.
Like the work done in 2005 on the World Development Report titled “Equity and Development” , the purpose of this collective paper by the IMPACT Network is not only to provide a rapid overview of the ideas discussed in the 2008 World Development Report, but also to assess this report using the goal of fighting poverty and inequalities as the yardstick. Coordinated by the Network’s Executive Secretariat (Anne-Sophie Brouillet), more than twenty people contributed to this readers’ report.
